Pop Music Considered in Fracture Compound's Post about Sound Art

This is by Bryan C. Reed on a blog called Fracture Compound out of Durham, North Carolina. His thoughts on songwriting and pop music, though not the main thrust of his article, struck a chord with me. It has influenced me to change my blog description up top so as not to imply that classical and jazz are the only art musics.
