AU Faculty Clarinet-Piano Recital Tonight (4/3/2013)

Competing tonight (4/3) with the Anderson & Roe event I mentioned in my last post, Auburn University clarinet and piano professors, David Odom and Jeremy Samolesky respectively, will present a recital tonight in Goodwin Hall at 7:30 PM. It should be a very, very good performance. Below is from the music department's news feed, which is not really a feed you can subscribe to via RSS or anything, rather it's more like a web page with links to articles you have to click manually after returning to the site. The AU Department of Music presents a Faculty Recital featuring Dr. David Odom, clarinet, and Dr. Jeremy Samolesky, piano, on Wedensday, April 3rd at 7:30pm in Goodwin Recital Hall. The two AU Music faculty members and have been performing together since 2006. Dr. Odom is also Principal Clarinet for The Atlanta Opera and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Samolesky has appeared in concert as soloist and chamber musician throughout the US and abroad. The Duo will perform music of Brahms and Debussy, as well as a virtuosic concert fantasy on themes from Verdi's opera 'Rigoletto.' Link to article
