Nashville Trombonists Performing at RiverCenter 2108-March-25

On the event digest for this week, my top pick was (is) the Music City Trombone Duo's (musiccitytrombones.com) concert at RiverCenter's Legacy Hall in Columbus, Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 pm ET (event page).

Jeremy Wilson and Brian Entwistle are educators and working trombonists in Nashville who have rolled out a strong brand for what looks like a pretty new duo project. They are commissioning new music and touring, mostly at schools, and they play very, very well.

Sunday's program will include music by Tom Schipper, Reinhold Gliere, W. Gregory Turner, Charles Small, and Daniel Schnyder. Admission is Free.
