Texas Guitarist Kicks Off Triple-Guitar Lunch-Music Miniseries 2017-Oct-12
Dan Kyzer, award-winning, New-England-Conservatory-grad classical guitarist and University-of-North-Texas doctoral student researching guitar duo arrangements of operatic overtures, will be the first of three classical guitar concerts (not in a row) this season at A Little Lunch Music, the weekly series at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art.
For what it's worth, I've become a fan of the classical guitar as a result of the tremendously high (imho) level of talent who have come through the series. It's music is rhythmic and dramatic and can span an emotional range from subtle delicateness (it's a word) to resonant obnoxiousness (also a word).
Below is my article on the museum's news roll.

In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I run this series.
